As these fantastic authors confirm, it is the marriage between illustration and text that makes Julia the Shark is so special. To celebrate the paperback publication, Hachette Children’s have set the challenge for your students to pair off and create something special using their combined talents. Whether that’s one student crafting an incredible story, complimented by the imaginative illustrations of another, or both students taking a turn at writing and drawing to create something magical.

To help your dynamic duos craft a fantastic story, Kiran and Tom will provide their top tips on how to work together, with an inspirational video to encourage involvement.

The competition will include teaching resources, a schools’ poster with an interactive quiz, and a pack of bookmarks for your class!
