Fraser Hutchinson joins The Reading Agency as Head of Publisher Partnerships
22 February 2019: The Reading Agency has appointed Fraser Hutchinson as its new Head of Publisher Partnerships. Hutchinson, currently Senior Marketing Manager, Children’s Books and Home Learning at Oxford University Press, will join the national charity in April.
Hutchinson has over 15 years of publishing experience, from children’s books to academic and adult educational publishing. Before joining Oxford University Press in 2016, he worked in marketing roles at Cambridge University Press, Wiley and Pearson.
As Head of Publisher Partnerships, he will lead The Reading Agency’s work connecting the publishing world with libraries and readers. This includes book promotions in libraries, author events, offers for reading groups and partnerships with literary prizes.
Hutchinson says: “I am very much looking forward to joining The Reading Agency and developing their work with a fantastic range of publishers, libraries, authors and prizes. I am passionate about developing and nurturing a life-long love of reading, so I am delighted to have the opportunity to work on projects which create new readers, of all ages, up and down the country.”
