A New Year

Suad misses her husband. He died suddenly and she never said goodbye. But Suad knows she is lucky. Her three children will look after her. After several false starts, she finally moves to the countryside. Her son’s family welcome her happily into their home.
 
At first, everything goes smoothly. Suad’s grandchildren love her cooking and watching TV together. But as the months pass, things become tense. The family is growing apart. Suad wonders, should she leave? Can she live alone after all this time? One thing is clear to Suad. Whatever her new life looks like, she must make the best of it.
