What on Earth! Magazine Quiz Challenge

Looking for an exciting project for your school that doesn’t need any prep and could see them being crowned national champions?

The What on Earth! Magazine Quiz Challenge is a nationwide general knowledge quiz where your team of 8-11 or 11-14 year olds compete against other schools virtually. If you get to the grand final, you and your team of 4 will get an expenses paid trip to London. There will also be trophies, book prizes and magazine subscriptions to be won plus the prestige of being the What on Earth! National Quiz Challenge winners!

It’s absolutely FREE to enter for all primary, secondary and independent schools throughout the UK at KS2 and KS3.

All the questions will be inspired by topics covered in six issues of the What On Earth! Magazine and these will be announced at the beginning of the autumn term so as to ensure that everybody has a fair chance regardless of when they registered. Full detail and information will be sent after the summer holiday.
Book
Nearer the date of the competition, you will be sent digital copies of all the What on Earth! magazine editions that are needed, and the team should then read and digest them thoroughly. This is an ‘open magazine’ quiz so these can be used during the on-line event, but the better they are known, the faster the team will be able to answer the questions.
