Author
Alexandra Dawe was born in Liverpool, and studied Animation at the Surrey Institute of Art & Design. She went on to work in Shepperton studios as a model maker on Thomas the Tank Engine. After years of model and props work across Shepperton and Pinewood on many different productions Alexandra worked at Palgrave Macmillan, before moving to Devon with her husband and two small children. Alexandra now lives in a crumbling house surrounded by fields, with her husband, children, a dog, two cats and a decreasing flock of elderly chickens. She loves to draw, read and write. The Stitchwort Curse is her first novel.

Author's Travel Constraints
Travel Constraints – needs to be accessible by public transport. Fees do not include travel and any necessary overnight accommodation. I will try to travel to and from your school without overnight accommodation where reasonably possible.

In Person 60 minute Author Presentation: £200. In person 45 minute Class Workshop: £100. In person Half Day - presentation plus 1 workshop: £250
