Is It My ADHD? Navigating Life As A Neurodivergent Adult
As many as 1 in 20 people in the UK have ADHD, and there are an estimated 2 million women currently undiagnosed. Grace Timothy was diagnosed in 2021, in her late 30s, after struggling with various aspects of every day life but never quite understanding why. We have gone from having very little information about women and ADHD to it being one of the big topics of the moment – and that means there is a lot of misinformation and myth flying around. Grace feels passionately about dispelling those myths and giving a real life insight into what it is like to navigate life as a neurodivergent adult. She covers topics like money, work, parenting, friendships, relationships, and mental and physical health, and how all of those things can be affected by ADHD.
Grace Timothy is available for solo talks, in conversations, or to speak with any library groups focused on women’s health and/or neurodivergence. She can appear in person or online.
