Setting up a write-in

Forget the cliche of the romantic hermit, writing doesn't need to be done alone, it can be social too! Writing with others is a great way to share ideas and keep motivated. Check out our tips for taking over your library with a library write-in below!
What's more, by setting up a library write-in for the Sony Young Movellist of the Year competition you can also be in with the chance of winning a set of great prizes!
Competition
Here's the deal; use the resource below to organise a group write-in, tell us about it, and you could win a 'write-in pack', a set of prizes to make your write-in even better the second time round!
Group Prize:
- a popcorn maker (for your future write-ins)
- £150 WH Smith Vouchers (for your group to get everything you need for writing)
Entering the competition is simple, you just have to send us a 200 word report on your write-in (preferably with pictures too) and the name and contact details of a librarian who we can deliver the prizes to. The most exciting sounding write-in will be awarded the prize pack.
You may want to think about the following questions when writing your entry: How many people came? How did you run your write-in? How did sharing work with friends help with everyone's writing?
Please send all entries to readingactivists@readingagency.org.uk by midnight on Saturday 27 April 2013.
So, there we go. Read the Terms and Conditions to make sure you've got all of the details straight, and then get write-in-ing!
And, of course, don't forget to enter the fruits of your write-in into the Sony Young Movellist of the Year competition.
