Our Instagrammer in residence, Emma Healey has had her latest brief. This time, it's from Reading Activists in Kent and the book they chose was The Positively Last Performance by Geraldine McCaughrean.
Emma created her fantastic video interpretation of the brief which you can see below.
SPOILER ALERT - don't click the video or read the brief if you don't want to know what happens at the end of the book!
Reading Activists in Kent gave an unusal brief that came in the form of a poem!
Mikey the mod.
Thinks he's cool.
Riders to the sea - heading for seashaw to fight rockers.
Mechanical elephant destroyed.
Ice cream van overturned.
Rockers catch him.
Rockers beat him.
Fists. Chains. Kicks.
Runs through their legs to theatre.
Thinks he's alive.
He's a ghost!
Reading Activist groups from St Helens, and Newscastle will be submitting briefs to Emma so look out for more videos. Follow us on Twitter and Instagram for all of the latest news and videos!
Watch the first Instagram video based on Gateshead Reading Activists' review of What's up with Jody Barton? and the second one based on St Helens Reading Activists' review of Cos You're My Sister.
You can take part in the project by responding to a brief with your own video! Once you've made your video, tweet it at us, send us a link or share it via Instagram.
