Creative writing is an incredibly fun and rewarding way to spend your time. However, it can also be very tricky. Sometimes the great ideas you need to get your story started just don't want to appear. That's why we've created these amazing new writing resources for you. And that's also why Sunderland's Washy Readers have organised the following event for local Reading Activists group.
In Idea Busters, Tommy Donbavand will show three brilliant new ways to brainstorm ideas so exciting you'll fight to put pen to paper. This workshop is fast, fun and furious - and you won't believe the range of ideas you will come away with.
Tommy is the author of the popular 13-book Scream Street series is also the author of the Doctor Who novel, Shroud of Sorrow, published by BBC Books in April 2013 as part of the show's 50th anniversary celebrations. The book features the 11th Doctor and his new companion, Clara.
