Digital activity winners

Reading Activists have been taking part in digital activities accross the country and we have been awarding prizes for their achievements. Digital activities are short creative tasks designed to be completed within a single group meeting. These activities encourage young people to tackle a creative brief using a different digital skill.
One of these activities was to create a soundtrack for their favourite book. Young people were asked to pick eight to twelve songs that they felt matched the theme, plot or atmosphere of their favourite book and arrange them into a playlist. We are very excited to award Kevin and Callum from Warrington a prize of £50 worth of iTunes vouchers for their soundtrack to Free Running: Find Your Way by Sebastien.
Another activity was to create a six word photostory inspired by the fact that Ernest Hemingway once said his best work was a story he wrote in just six words. We challenged Reading Activists to do the same using words and photos and we were thrilled to award Warrington Reading Activists a prize of £50 worth of cinema vouchers for their story Bee Healthy.
