Your #HackReading ideas in a vlog

Your ideas
We're looking for your ideas to get other young people into reading and we want them in the form of a vlog! Reading Hack the new programme for 13 to 24 year olds, due to launch later in 2015, that challenges young people to look at reading in new and inventive ways! To get us thinking, we want your ideas on how you would #HackReading, and we want you to show us what you would do in the form of a video!
Getting started
To kick you off, we've been busy thinking up ways to #HackReading. To hack is to put an alternative spin on something ordinary and use it in a new or unexpected way. Hacking reading is about a creative disruption of reading, about taking an existing thing and remaking it into something extraordinary. Got it? Check out this video to see what we mean:
Now it's your turn
We want you to share their #HackReading ideas with us. It might be your own poetry hack, a story hack, or a video that hacks the act of reading itself.
Apply for your vlog to appear here in May, June or July!
Next month Reading Activists from Peterborough will be sharing their ideas!
Get involved
Submit your idea to us to be the next person to appear here, or share your video on Twitter using #HackReading.
The Reading Activists programme for 13-24 year olds will soon become Reading Hack. Watch this space for more updates.
