Have you ever had a great idea for a horror story but had no one to share it with? Well now is your chance to share your gruesome, gruelling stories! We would love to hear your great ideas, and horror authors Alex Bell and Lou Morgan will pick their favourite.
To get involved, submit your fifty word horror story by email to Reading Activists by Tuesday 2 December. You may like to include a photo, poster or video to bring your story to life, or to share it on Twitter before you submit it to us. We're looking for the creepiest, scariest story you can think of!
You can enter as a group or completely alone - it's up to you.
The winning entry will win a £20 Waterstones voucher and a reading group set (10 copies) of Frozen Charlotte by Alex Bell and Sleepless by Lou Morgan.
Two runners up will receive a reading group set of either Frozen Charlotte or Sleepless.
We would love the winners to write or make a creative review of Sleepless or Frozen Charlotte by 23 January.
