Celebrate Harry Potter Book Night

5 February 2015 will see the first ever Harry Potter Book Night. This exciting event gives new and existing fans a chance to share the wonder of J.K. Rowling's stories.
Schools, bookshops, libraries and community groups will be hosting events to celebrate Harry Potter Book Night and Reading Activists are invited to celebrate the night too by organising their own activities. We think this is a fantastic opportunity for Reading Activists to show off their fantastic event organising skills, to get creative and of course, to have fun!
Organise an event
Bloomsbury have created a complete Harry Potter Book Night event kit offering all you need to plan and host an unforgettable evening. The only missing ingredient is Reading Activists' own ideas and flair.
The kit includes invitation templates, an event poster, games, activities and quizzes as well as ideas for dressing up and decorating the venue.
One of the main purposes of Harry Potter Book Night is to introduce the next generation of readers to the magic of Harry Potter. We think Reading Activists are the perfect people to do this and we hope they will be excited about sharing their love of Harry Potter with their peers as well as younger readers.
Competition
We also have a very exciting competition to announce. We want Reading Activists to make a video of their favourite Harry Potter scene. All they need to do is share the video with us on social media or by email by 30 January 2015 and they could win a £30 shopping voucher!
