We held two Chatterbooks training days in Scotland in early November; one in the impressive surroundings of Edinburgh Central Library, and one in a bright open-plan library in Bannockburn, near Stirling.
On the 20th of September a group of library staff from Arlesey, Guernsey, Harrow, Havering, Oxfordshire, Waltham Forest, and Windsor & Maidenhead came together at the Free Word Centre in London for a day of training on Chatterbooks.
Our next Chatterbooks training days are for library staff, teachers, and other education and literacy staff to build skills and knowledge, and get guidance and ideas, for planning and running Chatterbooks groups.
Reaching Readers is a practical workshop for the public library sector on how to pitch for authors and host successful events. Our Reading Partners scheme is a partnership consortium transforming the way publishers and libraries work together.
