Prison Libraries: Short Story Writing Competition and Creative Writing Top Tips
This competition is only open to people in prison.
Publisher Picador and national charity The Reading Agency are holding a 500-word writing competition!
This resource contains instructions for entering the competition and creative writing top tips designed for use in prison. Print and distribute this resource to wings for residents to take part. Winning entries will receive written feedback on their story from crime writer Ryan Gattis!
HOW TO ENTER:
Please send entries from your residents to zoe.sadler@readingagency.org.uk (take a photo or scan them in) by 12 February. Remember to let us know which prison the entries are from and ensure that they are anonymised.
