The Summer Reading Challenge on RFID machines

Across the country libraries' radio frequency identification (RFID) powered self-service consoles have been given a fantastic Mythical Maze themed makeover. We have worked with the country's largest suppliers of RFID machines to libraries to create custom Summer Reading Challenge themes which use Sarah McIntyre's artwork to promote the Challenge to library users.
Following an evaluation survey which told us that 136 authorities use RFID in their libraries, we have partnered with Bibliotheca, 2CQR, 3M and D-Tech to customize RFID interfaces. Many RFID machines, like the one pictured below, now include screens which use characters from this year's theme, and feature messages encouraging children to sign up to the Challenge and log their books on the Challenge website.
