The countdown to the London 2012 Games has begun and the Olympic torch is on its way!

The torch is making its way to London and no one is more excited than the Summer Reading Challenge team. We're overjoyed that Story Lab is an official project in the Cultural Olympiad's London 2012 Festival.

Libraries all over the country are planning their events and we're looking forward to hearing all about them.

This year's challenge has been created to link strongly with the Olympics. The three stages are divided into bronze, silver and gold and children who finish the challenge will get a certificate or medal, just like a real Olympian. Look out for sporting activities in the illustrations too! It's going to be great!
