Pssst! This summer we dare you to take a trip round Creepy House
This year's The Summer Reading Challenge is just around the corner. We're very excited about Creepy House and our trailer is just the thing to get you in the spooky mood.
Our hardworking printers, Salvo, have been very busy getting all the materials ready. Posters, stickers and other incentives will be on their way to libraries all over the UK soon so libraries, get ready!
Get involved
From 13 July, children can sign up to the Summer Reading Challenge at their local library (earlier in Scotland). They can log on to the Summer Reading Challenge website to chat, take part in competitions and find new books using the Booksorter.
Parents, carers and grandparents can keep up to date with news from the Summer Reading Challenge on our facebook page.
Watch Frank Lampard talk about being a Summer Reading Challenge Champion on ITV's This Morning on 6 June (at about 7 minutes into the interview) and watch his message encouraging children to sign up to the Challenge.
Librarians can log-in to our resources page to download resources such as logos, training material for staff and activity sheets for children.
This year we're running a donations campaign to help bring the Summer Reading Challenge to more disadvantaged children. It only costs £3 for three disadvantaged children to take part in the Challenge for free. Please donate £3 to our campaign by texting READ06 £3 to 70070 or by visiting justgiving.com/SummerReadingChallenge.
