We're very pleased to announce that D-Tech International Ltd, a leading supplier of multi-media detection and dispensing technology, have become a Reading Agency sponsor.
The sponsorship has enabled us to make technological improvements to the book sorter on the Summer Reading Challenge website which mean it is fully functional on tablets and mobile phones. So now children can send messages, keep track of their reading, and use the book Sorter to help them find their next read from recommendations from other children on the go. This is great for parents and carers too, who can use heir mobiles to help children choose a book or author to read over the summer.
Marvin Crisp, Managing Director of D-Tech International commented: "We are very proud to be the sponsor of The Reading Agency, we feel that the valuable work that they do is vital to the success of libraries and their place in the community and we are ecited to support them in their upcoming projects."
D-Tech have also nominated The Reading Agency as their charity partner. During the Summer Reading Challenge D-Tech is asking customers to display the Creepy House graphics on their SelfCheck units.
Miranda McKearney said: "We are absolutely thrilled that D-Tech International has chosen The Reading Agency as its charitable partner, and we look forward to a long and happy relationship. Our mission is to give everyone an equal chance in life by helping people become confident and enthusiastic readers, and over the next 5 years we want to create 10 million life changing reading opportunities. Thank you D-Tech International!"
