The six bestselling authors behind the 2015 Galaxy® Quick Reads titles are announced today. The books featured this year are guaranteed to entertain as well as help emergent readers on their reading journey.

Jojo Moyes - Paris for Two One
Sophie Hannah - Pictures Or It Didn't Happen
Fanny Blake - Red for Revenge
Adèle Geras - Out of the Dark
James Bowen - Street Cat Bob
As in other years, The Reading Agency, in partnership with Quick Reads, will work with library staff, literacy practitioners, prisons, outreach projects and colleges to bring the benefits and pleasure of reading to everyone, through initiatives such as the Six Book Challenge where Quick Reads are still the most popular titles for people taking part
"I'm delighted to be involved with Quick Reads as they are all about creating new readers and I've seen at first-hand how low levels of literacy have a negative effect on people's lives. Literacy is the key to opening doors for everyone." RODDY DOYLE
With one in six adults still struggling to read, Quick Reads continues its work to break down the barriers to reading. Since its launch, Quick Reads has distributed over 4.5m books and there have been over 3.5m library loans.
"I was so happy to be asked to be a part of Quick Reads. I have always enjoyed reading and the great pleasure it can give you. I hope my book and the story of how I found a stray ginger cat who gave me the strength to change gives inspiration to all the readers. I also hope that, although my story may be very different to most other people's, that they can find similar things they struggle with and learn, as I did, that although I did not always make the best choices in life, it wasn't too late to turn my luck around. We are given opportunities each day, it's whether we choose to take advantage of them that matters." JAMES BOWEN
The books will be published on 5 February 2015.
