As organisations prepare to launch Reading Ahead, the new name for the Six Book Challenge, it's a good time to recognise the fantastic achievement of those who have supported large numbers of people to complete the programme in 2015. Ninety-nine awards have been confirmed so far this year: 26 gold for 150 or more completers, 25 silver for 100 - 149 and 48 bronze for 50 - 99.
You can see the full list here. Special mention goes to the top performers: The Manchester College with a record-breaking 616 completers, Brent Libraries with 328, HMP Thameside with 260 and De Montfort University with 188.
We also had record entries for our prize draws for completers and for organisations in each sector. The lucky winners are Exeter College (pictured above), Dudley Libraries, HMP Ranby in Nottinghamshire and the DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency) in Swansea, each of which will receive an author visit in the coming months. Well done everyone.
From September 2015, the Six Book Challenge operates under a new name - Reading Ahead. You can order new materials and branded incentives from our Shop now for delivery in time for September.
