Exciting ITV Drama 'Grace' based on books by Reading Ahead ambassador Peter James!

Reading Ahead Ambassador Peter James' bestselling novels have been adapted into a two-part ITV drama. Both episodes are two hours in length and available to stream now.
Episode one sees Detective Superintendent Roy Grace stepping away from his work on cold cases and launching himself into the search for a Brighton property developer. When time is of the essence and no one is quite what they seem, will Grace find the perpetrator before it's too late? Packed full of twists and turns, it's a hard-hitting, fast-paced drama!
Why not read the books that started it all?
Dead Simple is the first novel in James' eighteen-part series and is the basis of episode one. It was meant to be a harmless stag-night prank but a few hours later Michael Harrison has disappeared, and his friends are dead. Superintendent Roy Grace must overcome personal obstacles to stand a chance against this one.
Looking Good Dead is the second novel in the series and is the basis of episode 2. When a young woman's body is found butchered in Brighton, Detective Superintendent Roy Grace cannot help but think of his own missing wife and her unsolved fate. Elsewhere in the city, Tom Bryce finds a disc left on a train and returns it to its owner. But this attempted act of kindness makes him the sole witness to that same vicious murder. Learning that Tom has made a statement to Grace's team, the killers have to act. But when they plan the murder of the Bryce family, it's not just revenge - it's entertainment.
If you can't get enough of Roy Grace you'll be pleased to know that Peter James has written two Quick Reads following the character.
The Perfect Murder is a gripping novella about Victor Smiley and his wife of twenty years, Joan. Bored and loathing each other, Victor decides there is only one way to get Joan out of his life for ever, but he's about to get a nasty surprise. As it turns out, Victor's not the only one with murder in mind...
Wish You Were Dead comes out on 27 May 2021. It follows Grace on his holiday to France but, unfortunately for Roy, criminals don't take vacations! You can pre-order the title now.
