The Man Booker International Prize celebrates translated fiction at its finest. This is the first year that the prize will be awarded for a single novel or collection of short stories. Both the writer and the translator will be rewarded equally for their contribution. The longlist of titles for the prize was announced today, and we are pleased to share it with you.
