Free event
Our Director of Research, Debbie Hicks, will be giving a talk about Reading Well Books on Prescription on Friday 27 June, 12.30 to 1.30pm, at the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Library and Heritage Centre.
The talk is part of a lunchtime lecture, chaired by RCN Public Health Adviser Helen Donovan, which considers how to identify which self-help books are genuinely helpful when there are so many available.
Gopa Mitra, of the Self-Care Forum, will also give a talk about the concept of self-care and the resources available.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
