Our training is delivered face to face and online. We also offer bespoke consultancy. All of our training and consultancy is supported by dedicated resources and the expertise of experienced programme managers.
Planning your reading activities strategically
Planning the C21 reading service: strategic planning/visioning training and consultancy using the Universal Reading Offer as tool to inform local authority reading service delivery and regional reading strategy development.
Making reading count: against local authority priorities; looking at the evidence and advocacy required to trace the golden thread between reading service delivery and local authority priority outcomes.
Reading and Health: strategic planning of a local public library health and wellbeing offer using the health offer framework.
Increasing engagement and impact through our reading programmes
Chatterbooks reading clubs: settting up Chatterbooks reading clubs; Chatterbooks training for group leaders and volunteers.
Reading Ahead: running Reading Ahead in libraries, colleges and prisons.
Reading Hack: engaging young people; training for young volunteers: events planning; working with creative professionals; digital training for library staff/young people; creative reading/writing with young people; volunteering.
Keeping your knowledge and expertise up to date
Volunteering: establishing a volunteering strategy/programme.
Running author events: making the business case for author events, how to pitch for authors, a successful pitch, what happens next.
Digital and social media skills: reaching and engaging readers digitally.
