RSS
RSS is a system to publish content updates directly to your computer.
A website provides an RSS feed (about 'News' for example) and you subscribe to the feed. When the website is updated you are notified that the content has changed.
You can subscribe using a modern web browser (Internet Explorer 7, Firefox or Safari all support RSS), or by using a RSS reader.
